What is LPD8806 CHIP

The LPD8806 chip built in 1.2 MHz high speed 7-bit PWM for each channel, so 21-bit color per pixel for each channel. The level of red, green and blue.The LED can be controlled by Arduino, microcontroller or controller specifically designed for led strip and pixel light.

The LEDs are controlled by shift-registers that are chained up down the strip so you can shorten or lengthen the strip.

The strip is made of flexible PCB material, and comes with a waterproof sheathing.
