These super thin led strips are made by WS2812B LEDs wired in series. These LEDs have an IC built right into the LED. This allows communication via a one-wire interface. This means that you can control lots of LEDs using just one digital pin of your Arduino.
In the following figure, you can see the chip inside the LED. The LED is an RGB LED and works like so.
These kinds of night rider-led strip kinds are very flexible and can be cut to any length you want. As you can see, the strip is divided into segments, and each segment contains one RGB LED.
You can adjust its size by cutting the strip with scissors in the right place (the proper places to cut the strip are marked).
Every 0.5meter with solder joints, please note!

Precautions
- Using the 5VDC power supply. Higher than 5V will destroy it.
- If you need more data on the WS2812 led strip, we will send it to you.
- The LEDs at the far end of the best addressable led strip might be dimmer because of the added resistance and voltage drop that occurs during the current flows to that end of the strip. The solution is adding DC5V voltage every 16.4ft or 32ft according to the actual situation.
- The LED strip is made by 50cm FPCB, so there is a solder point each 50cm(1.6FT) on the strip. But this minor flaw has no bad effect on the strip’s performance. In fact, ALL the LED strips on the market are manufactured in half-meter lengths.
