There are 32 RGB LEDs per meter of this digital lpd8806 strip. Each LED can be controlled individually. The LPD8806 chip has built-in 1.2 MHz high-speed 7-bit PWM for each channel so that it can do 21-bit color per LED.  You can set the color of each LED’s red, green, and blue. The LEDs are controlled by shift-registers that are chained up down the strip so you can shorten or lengthen the strip. Only 2 digital output pins are required to send data down.

They come in 5-meter reels with a 4-pin JST SM connector on each end. 

To Power a full roll of this lpd8806 strip, You must use at least 5V/10A power supply, do not use higher than 6V or you will destroy the entire strip.

◆Installation method and precautions◆

 1、Indoor installation: LED strip light for indoor installation is relatively simple because it does not have to withstand the wind and rain. Installation can be directly torn off the 3M double-sided adhesive surface sticker on the back of the strip, and then the strip is fixed in the place where it needs to be installed according to the flat on it. If you meet the corner of the strip is too long and too short, the LED strip can be cut or welded at any point in each group with scissors marking the tangent line for individual use.

2, outdoor installation: outdoor installation because it will be subject to wind and rain, can not be fixed with 3M adhesive, so outdoor installation often use the slot fixed way, the need to cut and connect the place, the same method, and indoor installation, just need to be equipped with an additional waterproof adhesive to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.

3, the power supply connection method: LED illumination strip general voltage DC5V, so you need to use a switching power supply, the size of the power supply according to the power of the LED strip, and the length of the connection to determine.

4、Controller connection method: LED runner strip and RGB full-color strip need to use the controller to realize the illusion effect, and the control distance of each controller is different, generally speaking, the control distance of simple controller is 10 to 15 meters, the control distance of remote controller is 15 to 20 meters, and the longest distance can be controlled to 30 meters. If the LED strip is connected to a longer distance, and the controller can not control that long, then it is necessary to use a power amplifier to tap.
